American Organ Sales was founded in 1994 to sell Hammond organs to churches in the Detroit area. Since that time, we have expanded to Houston, Minneapolis, Dallas, and Atlanta. We are one of the largest Hammond Organ dealers in the country. In many instances, traditional piano and organ stores have pricing structures which inflate the price of the products and then offer inflated trade-in values on old products. The net price paid is still significantly higher than the prices charged by my company. These pricing structures are often times misleading and confusing. They originated from practices established in marketing home organs when they were quite popular in the 1960's and 70's, and were designed to encourage customers to continually trade-up to more expensive organs, being told that they would receive a trade-in equal to the full price they paid for their organ. A typical home organ customer could be expected to purchase as many as five organs during their lifetime.
The primary customer of American Organ Sales is the church. I expect that a church will only make one purchase of a Hammond organ from my company. Past experience has shown that the Hammond organ is a very durable product. Many have lasted for 25, 35, 45 years or more. The current line of digital Hammond products was first introduced in 1991. Indications so far are that these products are also quite durable and have a long expected useful life.
I want to offer churches a method of replacing their old, worn out Hammond organs at an affordable price. I do this by selling through Church Organ Consultants rather than typical retail locations. This allows me to pass on the savings to my customers rather than paying high overhead costs associated with traditional retail operations.
When you purchase a Hammond organ from American Organ Sales, you are dealing with professionals committed to your satisfaction. I was the Vice President of Hammond for 10 years and left to devote my full time attention to American Organ Sales. Our Church Organ Consultants are musicians from the local community which they serve. They are generally organists or ministers of music at local churches. Each of them is committed to your satisfaction with the product you purchase from American Organ Sales.
With the possible exception of demonstration products, American Organ Sales sells new Hammond organs under a one-price philosophy. You don't walk away questioning whether you paid more than another church in your area. Hammond organs are priced the same for every church, large or small, in all of the areas in which we do business.
Our prices include:
Free Delivery
Free Installation (in most cases)
Free Training for your organists
Most of our customers already have an old Hammond organ. Some of them are kept and placed in other areas of the church, such as a fellowship hall, rehearsal room, etc. Some churches donate their old organ to other churches. Some churches sell their old organ. While we do accept trade-ins, we do not sell used organs.
American Organ Sales sells only new Hammond organs. The reason for this is simple. The old Hammond organs, such as the B-3 and C-3 are now between 33 and 53 years old. The parts supply to repair these organs is almost non-existant. Many parts must be taken from other old organs which have been scrapped and are being used to salvage parts for repairs. Even so called rebuilt or refurbished organs must use parts taken from organs which are up to 53 years old. These parts are unreliable and it is impossible to determine how long they will last.
Many used Hammond organs sell for between $4,000 and $10,000. At American Organ Sales, we sell only new Hammond organs at affordable prices. For about the same price you might pay for a 30 year old organ, you can have a brand new, state-of-the-art instrument that comes with a full warranty .
I urge you to contact us to discuss the new Hammond organs. We will be happy to provide you with references of customers in your area who have purchased new Hammond organs. They can tell you of their experiences with our products, prices, service, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We will be happy to set an appointment to demonstrate the features of the new Hammond organs at a time convenient for you.
